Black and White Street Photography

This is the most direct entry point into the black and white side of the portfolio. It brings together street moments, documentary portraits, and scenes where contrast and timing do most of the work.

The Hague and the wider Dutch coastline are part of this visual language: open light, weather, people in transit, quiet streets, and the odd theatre of daily life. In black and white, those moments become less about place as description and more about rhythm, gesture, and tension.

If you are interested in the visual language that keeps appearing across the site, this is the place to start. The work is observational, but not neutral. It looks for small human scenes that briefly become larger than themselves.
